Not a big fan of the sleeveless coat. This will never become a classic for a very good reason. It doesn’t work on anyone. Including her. That said the fabric and colour is lovely but a bit heavy for summer. Ripped jeans are so over. Move on Amal.

I’m not a fan of midriff and cleavage exposed tops. Midriffs were popular in athletic wear in the mid/late 1980’s and that was about it. They never maxed a comeback. Failed attempt this year for designers to try to bring it back. It didn’t fly with the general population. I love all plaid designs, but my least favorite is the buffalo plaid, which is the name of the plaid in this sleeveless coat. In America, it was a popular look in the ’80’s for men’s hunting jackets and men’s lumberjack coats. This outfit is a real mixed bag. A very modern shoe that’s trending now. An 80’s buffalo plaid coat, ripped jeans, and a midriff top, modern sunglasses. All mix & match. I think it would have looked better if she would have buttoned up the coat most of the way & tied the waist belt around to cinch the waist. But leave the top few buttons open.
