This is without question the most horrible comment on Nati’s blog. Nati’s blog has been hijacked by people like this person. Go back a few years and read the blog. It was filled with wonderful comments and discussions about fashion. The blog has now become a hybrid National Enquirer, Daily Mail, and TMZ. How truly horrible to take a serious accident and make this type of comment. Most of the comments are not worth reading anymore. If you go back in time and read the “before Trump” comments and “during Trump” comments you will see what has happened to civil discourse. It is gone.

Agreed, it’s a horrible comment because of it’s legitimacy. Amal loves the cameras so much, that she would preen when her husband was almost killed in a car accident. This is the person you admire so much.

The lack of civility in American culture has been brewing for some time. It is convenient to blame one person for the decisions of individual people to speak badly, imprudently, unwisely, without discretion etc-especially if that person is a member of an opposing political party.
There are many factors that have contributed to a lack of civility-the faceless internet & other technology, social media and motion pictures, deterioration of the family and other institutions (Church) which shape culture and behavior and poor role models (public & private). Anyone even hear a news report about the bad behavior of parents at their child’s Little League game? This stuff has been occurring for years!
What is important is for each of us to look in the mirror and examine our own behavior as it is a sign of emotional maturity. I hope it is understood that I am not defending any particular person’s behavior. I am pointing out that a conclusion that a single political person’s bad behavior is responsible for the actions of the many is frankly ridiculous.

Coco and others: This is the great part about being a qualitative researchers. I am able to go back in time on Nati’s blog and match up comments by “newcomers” and link it to when Trump came into office. It is a variable I selected because so much has been written on his use of language, his mean spiritedness, his lies, his made up stories, and so on. This is similar to the great researcher in San Diego who documented that teens became more depressed when they started using i-phones and social media. It is a great study.

Well, regardless of whether she gave birth or not, amal has the best style of anyone ever in the public eye and without a doubt the most beautiful creature with or without alot of make-up.

Dislike the dress, looks to me like made of a white curtain with black tape.
What strikes me most: The way she is looking up to check if the cameras are on her; the way she carries herself always when she is with him – hunched over and trying to look small and vulnerable, it´s like she is his daughter; even worse the pigeon-toed walking/posing, which is child-like stance, ridiculous for a woman turned 40. Stand straight and tall woman! You are a force and educated woman who doesn’t need to act like a child when you are with your husband!
George has badly aged since marriage, has lost a lot of weight, looks unhappy, disconnected, depressed, worse since summer 2017, i.e. birth of the twins.

Sometimes, when all cameras are supposed to be in the location (ie, the Royal Wedding or with George Hollywood events ) she poses like a model, straight, shoulders back, smile etc.
Other times, when the game is, “I am supposed to look surprised seeing the flashes here”, she strikes the girl pose.
She is not a pro yet, she still in loving-camera phase, so she still looks at them and smile proudly of her “accomplishment” :- ))) except that is not her accomplishment though..
About George looking old, yes, but he is old :- )) .. he look aged before the twins. He is tired maybe of the flashes. He is a seasoned and famous actor and he is not as excited as his wife seeing the cameras, he just goes along her needs…
I believe he hasn’t wasted a minute of his night sleep because of any child, however bad critics can make him lose a sleep night. He is an actor, he depends on his public. He cares about what other people thinks. All actors do. :- )

Jackson, you are right most something a millionaire celebrities in their 50s don’t look old. They have care, good medical attention, no stress, professional physical trainers, complete gyms at their multiple homes, and the best plastic surgeons.. they cannot possibly look aged anymore. :- ))) agree with you.
I also agree with a comment about amal looking drunk, yes, very possibly but he does too. He loves his drinking and his parties and have fun with his buddies. Drinking ages more than the sun tan.

I do not think that George Clooney is old – because I am even older……
Nevertheless I think he is a very attractive handsome man in the 50. Ok a bit old for children – babys, but this seems to be normal in America. Imagine Brigitte Nielson – even Grandmas are becoming mothers and getting children.
Amal is beautiful for me, but it is very obvious how super vain she is. It is a shame…. a bit less and everything is o.k.

I don’t know about this dress. I like the rouching but the whole effect is a very young look, a look-at-me, come- hither vibe. I don’t think it’s appropriate for Amal to wear this style. She is a professional, a wife, a mother, a human rights activist. Maybe it’s time to leave some things behind, and accept and celebrate her age and achievements.

Regardless what we like or dislike about her fashion choices, I think some people here wants to know her real personality. You can tell a lot about someone personality simply by her fashion picks, physical attitude, life style, etc even more than carefully prepared speeches.

I like Amal’s fresh face in this photo! She looks young and youthful! While the dress is definitely not my cup of tea, I think Amal pulls this look off witj aplomb! This is her private time with her husband. Amal clearly has a work wardrobe and a play wardrobe. Unfortunately, we always see her in her private time, which means her wardrobe gets more scrutiny than the average woman’s. I wouldn’t want to live like that for all the tea in China!

Would like to say something – Amal gets these fashion pieces that are fashionable and amazing pieces – it’s not like she’s designing them etc. so I can’t go on here crediting her for the fashion ensemble but I credit her for looking awesome wearing them. There is nothing unique or quirky about her choices they are flying into her hands by top designers – what found fo wrong ? Nothing.

Dress is hideous to me. Entire look is trashy as I think that is part of its allure and intention. I have to agree with those who think this choice is not in alignment with her profession or professional aspirations. I don’t think age is an issue with this choice; if she were a 40 year old bartender, the dress wouldnt be a shocker. I still wouldn’t like it but that would be the end of my comment.
She does look good though without all that usual makeup.

In a way I feel sorry for people like George and Amal because in 10 years or so they will be forgotten and replaced with other new people to admire. Unfortunately, money and fame does not buy youth and beauty, nor does it buy a “forever forever life”. At the end we are all just normal “human beings” walking a short life on this earth.

I feel so sorry for George and I do wish him complete recovery!
I ask myself whether his accident has been accidental or willingly caused. Taking into consideration the foregoing rumour about the couple‘s disputes regarding the adoption of children or even having more of their own and George‘s wish to get divorced one cannot but think of a possible attempt on his life. The Alamuddins would not let him go, as they have married up due to their daughter‘s marriage to George and not vice versa as his father keeps maintaining mistakenly. George should take care and protect himself by a greater number of reliable bodyguards as his family-in-law has got a lot of negative and dangerous mafioso potential „to bring him to reason“.

Soos – I am not sorry for George; he is wealthy, doing very well and has all possibilities to look good/young(er) and to dress well – check the pictures of his father, the man is over 80 and looking fresher as his son. George´ s ex-girlfriends got him when he was good-looking, sexy and young, Amal got the leftover … Sometimes the truth is bitter.

Now I’m feeling bad about the comment I made regarding their relationship having never been tested. I specifically mentioned that Amal wouldn’t have been interested in George if he was sick, etc. Now look at what happened! I truly didn’t mean that I wished something bad would happen to George (or Amal). Anyway, glad to see that George survived that accident. Apparently, he was going 60 mph when the collision happened. That can kill a person. Maybe he should consider retiring the motorcycle lifestyle, esp. now that he has 2 adorable kids to look after.

George looks tired and distressed indeed because of his work on the set but also because of the lack of understanding on his wife‘s side. Two children for such a busy couple and a vain mother making a fuss about every designer and travelling around all over the world to show up her fashion looks and hold speeches which do not solve any problems at all are enough if they are willing to see them grow up, be on their side when they need dad‘s or ma‘s help, suppport, Love and comfort. I think George is conscious of his role of a father in his late fifties, he loves his twins from the bottom of his heart and he wishes to do his job as a father as well as he can. More children will not consolidate their relationship as Amal thinks is it would do. She just wants to keep him stay at home as everyone knows how jealous she can be. George is not old enough to retire and stay totally separated from his longlife friends and interests. I wish he may stick to his point of view in spite of his injuries and the pain he is suffering from. The accident is an n attempt to make him give in!!
