Yeah, it seems to be a consensus that those boots are fit for aliens and it is NOT loved in this Planet Earth 🙂 ..and it looks like they are so uncomfortable on the feet :-(( …Gucci…Gucci…seriously??? Hire me as a designer instead!!!!

Amal makes everything she wears work, even though something may look different (the boots) she has the ability to make it work and look great.
I like her because her style is so unique and it is different than the average woman. She doesn’t make it seem forced. I really love the Akong necklaces she wears. I love seeing the transition from serious lawyer to going to dinner with George Clooney. What a fun and fascinating life!!!

They look cute together – like high school sweethearts. The cape is nice. Not a fan of the booties or the necklace, and the clutch looks out of place. Also still not a fan of jeans on George, either.

Not one of my favorite outfits. Not crazy about the boots, I think it’s that the leather just looks too stiff and high. I like the leopard print on the boot and heel though, but that’s it. The cape is Ok, nothing wrong with it. I don’t like the purse color with the outfit. She sure is playing to the camera in these pics.

You’re right…just in a bad mood yesterday. I would rather see her smile to the camera than act hoity-toity..I think I even brought that up at the airport post. Who knows…the photographer may have shouted out something to her and she just smiled in response.

Of course she has a stylist that puts all this together for her. Also designers will go to her place and show their stuff. As a lawyer, she can prepare her cases anywhere in the world. Everything is done by emails now. She only needs to be present for court. I thought that she had under dark circles and looked tired when she was in Egypt recently for her latest court case. All this traveling must get to her but she looks fine here.

Yes, he is dressed rather sloppy for what was presumably a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner with his wife. I hear that LA is rather casual but he still could have dressed better for this than he did.

i’m not really a fan of this outfit. the shoes don’t look good from the front view. they look better sideways. as for the cape, i don’t mind it. i love capes. As for George, i want to buy him a new pain of jeans. but i like the fact that he is confident in his own skin, and unlike other actors his age, he doesn’t try to look younger. i really appreciate the fact that he embraces his grey hair and doesn’t dye it. i prefer the men that look mature and their age over the ones that desperately try to hide it.

Since this is a site about fashion as much as it is about Amal, I think it is only fair to recognize that she’s had a few missteps recently. It is interesting to me that they occur mostly in LA where I suspect someone as stylish as Amal must feel a bit like a fish out of water. It feels to me like she’s trying too hard. In this case, I think the cape is an odd choice for a costly purchase. It will be out of style in a nanosecond. And it looks better in the source photo where it is paired with a more interesting blouse instead of the white t-shirt. Secondly, the boots are not very attractive. In fairness, I don’t like them period, but they hit her leg in a very unflattering spot. I wish she would just relax and be herself. If you go back and look at the earlier photos of their courtship, she looked much hipper and more confident. It must be difficult to find your footing in the public eye, where you have your photo taken at every turn. Hopefully she will start to relax and find her comfort zone. I miss the old Amal.

Lulu, i it is given to her!! Think about it!! She is not spending g a dime on these designers clothing g i bet my head on it! And she is not parading everyday in front of ours eyes. We see pics of her twice, three times a month at the most…? or here and there, so not much of a clothing change :)..but i am sure her closet is big and most likely it was already huge before she met George. it just became a bit more expensive stuff in it after marrying him. I bet she has so much stuff sent to her to wear that she does not even know what to do to wear them all hahaha She is actually very controlled, or she would be parading a new one everyday!! 🙂 That is what i think 🙂

You know.. i dont think she is paying for this stuff. Designers can totally enjoy the exposure she can bring, so i think she is been sent loads of stuff to wear and she is matching things up oh her own. I doubt she has an stylist for this…if so i am going to fire him or her for picking up these horrendous boots!! No offense to Payless but that looks like a Payless shoes boots. For the price Gucci is charging for this, one would think they would have a better design, STOP WEARING ANIMAL SKIN and use a material that fits the human leg. The Cape…. again too expensive for what it is, i sincerely hope she did not pay for this cape either! I like the little detail on the top… and would maybe enjoy it on a different color… but i guess it is indeed the pairing it with that white t-shirt… nay…. I love the handbag, MINUS THE ANIMAL skin. I wish that Amal did not wear animal skin :(( I will be very sad if i see her wearing fur :((
and the last, but not least… come on people… she is not in need to be shopping for this stuff??? Everyone can have some skinny jeans in the closet, and a white t-shirt… these other stuff is most likely been sent to her by designers…. she is not spending any time on this! it is not like she is wearing Lady Gaga type of costumes. Her dress style is actually very simple, expensive for sure, but no big deal to put together…. and she misses it here and there, like most of us do, including designers,,, hint… these boots and frenging cape 🙂 But as always, and in any way…she turns heads… that is Amal 🙂

I agree, many designers are probably attempting to connect with her to have them wear their designs. She is a very photographed woman right now and has everyone’s attention. And they know it! Therefore, it serves them well to offer F R E E collections for her to wear. 1. To help endorse the brand since they know she will be photographed in it. 2. The hope that she might continue to wear the brand & likewise continue to be photographed in it. 3. It promotes sales for them & their collections. So Nadia is probably correct…she more than likely receives a lot of designer collections for F R E E. I recall Kelly Ripa (American talk show host) stating how she receives F R E E designer collections to wear on & off the show. It all makes sense to me. Marketing; Advertisement; Sales; Publicity, etc. 🙂

I truly think Amal simply wears what she likes since the beginning when she was first papped with George she has worn odd shoes they seem to be her style. As for all the clothes she has they have a a seven bedroom home I don’t thinks she has a problem with where to put all of them.

Seriously, who would want all that clothing? Maybe it’s the anti-materialist in me, but I’d feel weighed down with all that stuff. I tend to feel liberated when I don’t have too much stuff.

I think she is always dressed impeccably when working and I really like her work style. She does seem to mess up a but casually , but overall, she somehow makes it all work for her. She knows what looks good on her and that’s a huge part of being fashionable.

They both look very tan…looks like they were on vacation, perhaps. Amal’s outfit is cute. A nice throw together for going out to dinner. Fun outfit. Cute outfit. Simple, yet with some “texture”. I like it. It’s unique, and definitely high fashion. Gucci, Yves St. Laurent. Etc. Amal seems to be a polite person; that’s probably why you see her smiling often for the cameras. To other posts about ‘smiling for the camera’….keep in mind, we don’t see what they experience, meaning No Doubt, there’s probably up to 20 photographers (maybe more!) snapping their photo…I would smile too. She’s probably being more polite, than playing up to the cameras. That’s my guess. Amal strikes me as a polite and courteous person. George seems more the blue jean type, shorts & flip flops kinda guy. 🙂

i agree with you Jaclyn… on the “posing for the cameras” issue. She comes across to me as just a very dawn to earth person, very friendly and in her mind she is being polite to all this attention. Maybe polite to a fault hahah but nevertheless polite and gives up a god vibe. I prefer to see her smilin than being a straight face. Smiles are beautiful and her seems genuine.
Now, for the tan… i thought of that at first but then i think it is just bad camera exposure. These pics are really bad technically btw, does not looks like a pro paparazzi took them. More likely were taken by an amatory with their cell cameras, easy to conclude that by the super bad angles they took. Paparazzi are way better on capturing better shots. I think the tan is only dark exposure.
On his style: maybe there is a lesson to us women ,,, to not try to fix the person we are with. I am sure she could strongly impose a better style on George but that would not be accepting the man you married. i am sure she knows what he is by now and likes and it is always admirable to me a woman does not impose style on her man. Of course we would enjoy if he step up a bit on the casual attire, since he is so awesome with the gala stuff, but perhaps that is exactly what he likes to wear on daily basis; old style Levis jeans. For sure there are better cuts that would make him a sexy stallion, but it seems he prefers those that looks like they are been used on repeat, and that old pair of shoes…. But she does not care, she allows him to be him and she gets on with her style. THAT IS CHALLENGING to most of us… but maybe that is a good secret on how marriage and companionship should be: respect for what the other person is and likes to do. Kudos for her 🙂

I’m hoping that when the renovation of their Berkshire home is completed and she won’t have to spend so much time in the Hollywood fishbowl, we’ll see more of the old Amal, having fun with mismatched shoes and Tatty Devine jewelry. With all the Gucci, St. Laurent and Versace I think she’s lost some of her old fashion flair.

I actually think we see very little of her in Hollywood..think about the amount of days when we don’t see where she is?? I am inclined to think she is spending 90% of her time elsewhere and not involved in Hollywood stuff, and the fact that she may be in Cali does not means she is involved in Hollywood stuff 🙂 I read somewhere that they both LOVE to travel so i am sure we will continue to see them everywhere, besides, he is a Hollywood star, it is only normal that she also hangs out where his work is:) Dont you agree? 😉 I would LOVE to be able to have multiple residences in different parts of the world. 🙂

Hmmm, seems to me that we’ve seen them going to and from that same sushi restaurant in Los Angeles alone at least half a dozen times in the past few weeks. I don’t think it’s abnormal for her to be in L.A. occasionally, given that George is a Hollywood star. But if you’ve ever been there, you know that the culture of Hollywood is so superficial, obsessed with looks and celebrity, not strength of character. It’s understandable that Amal would feel pressure to fit in there — it is after all, her husband’s world. I just think she’s better than that.

I love the cape, but not the boots. I love her, but it’s a little annoying how everything she wears is at least 2500 Euros and has to be a big name brand. I understand that she makes a lot of money and is married to a movie star now, but come on!

Amal seems to love snake pasterns…. me i can stand it.. both for ethical reasons for care for animals, and also because snakes scares the crap out of me,,,, cant stand not even the thought of having its paters on me …. so any outfit with snake paterns, not even the faux, or just details, does it for me…. i do not find them attractive :-(( …I would had enjoyed the necklace more if it did not also look like a snake somehow….ok…you got the point 😉

We see them out to dinner nothing else, George does not do the Hollywood thing so they lead a pretty quiet life. George is working so it makes sense that she is there with him they are newlyweds and i’m sure want to be together. I
