This is a true power couple of human rights and philantropy; they share the same values and aspirations, they have common values and a true sense of togetherness, together this couple can achieve so much more than each of them could achieve by themselves. On top of that they seem to really like each other, have a good time together and the fact that they look soooo good is just the icing on the cake. You just can’t help but admire these two!   5. Lovely dress, very appropriate for the occasion. But her best accessory is George! He is beaming, because I think their shared interest in human rights is a powerful connection for him. And, on a lighter note, he isn’t wearing his slouchy dad jeans!

  12. “Google supports the Clooney foundation for justice”, good to know that at least some of the savings Google makes from tax evasion in the US are invested in an international cause, if this so stands true. I suppose it fits in line with the tech. industry “no borders” future kind of view, translating into evading taxes locally, using local ressources without giving back to the local community and shifting some of these “savings” -of course less than what the local taxation scheme would have cost them- to international causes making way for a better world, albeit one of a better consumption/spending capacity.

    If the end result is the defence of these innocent people who in no way deserve the fate they have been subjected to by the war in Syria, then let us hope for the best. At least, I wish to believe that George is good hearted and well intended and believes in these causes he supports and invests his funds and time into. I can only wish the best upon this couple who so seems to be doing good for the world, united or apart.

  17. Love the style & fit of this dress on her. Not crazy about the print, though, for the occasion. Skulls & eyes & butterflies for a meeting at the UN with the President of the United States—I don’t think so.
