About

STEPPING OUT

This wonderfully funny and heartwarming play was a huge triumph for Richard Harris with a deservedly long West End run.

Set in a North London church hall STEPPING OUT tells of the trials and triumphs of a ladies tap dancing class – seven women and one lone male – as they progress towards an important climactic charity concert.

The comedy hots up as personalities clash. There’s attractive Maxine and overweight Sylvia; eager Lynne and shy Dorothy; snobby Vera and do-gooder Andy; exotic Rose and embarrassed – well he’s the only man around! – Geoffrey. Not forgetting the teacher, Mavis, an ex-professional dancer who failed to make the big time by a soupçon of circumstances and now pushes the class towards high standard and a grand finale.

      1. Yes I agree very Romantic. When you posted that his parents were there combined with how they have not been very visible lately I was hoping they had moved. I wish I could at least see the area where they live. Maybe this summer!

  2. Beautiful job on the fresh & new site, but I kind of like the other one better. The other was….More user friendly, less “busy”, more one-of-a-kind, more visually appealing. less chaotic in appearance, and more focused and to the point. The other: 10/10. This one, meh.

  3. Nati.. are you liking this new version of your blog display? I hope you dont take it the wrong way…but i really preferred the old one… the first one…it was more effective and easy…

sometimes change is not necessary…in my humble opinion..but of course.. it is your call:) Happy 2016 Nati!

  4. if you google the house you will see pictures of the estate and house. As for them releasing pictures of their home , I don’t think that will happen.

  5. I’m glad the old format is back! Really enjoy her pictures at the top. Thank you Nati, for providing this entertaining website. Amal is a beautiful woman, and I really enjoy seeing the majority of what she wears. I’m not as young, thin or beautiful…but I am her height, slim at 56 and have her skin tone and hair color, though not so long of course. I like dressing youthful and fashionably appropriate for my age (although it kills me at times to have to retire certain looks…sob), but her outfits give me some ideas that I can tone down. Just a fun website.

      1. Happy New Year Nati. Thank you for the time you spend making this blog enjoyable for all. Just as George and Amal got some time to rest and enjoy family, I hope you did as well since we haven’t seen much of them lately! Maybe they are working on having a baby. Cheers and blessing for a great 2016 to you.
