  1. Pretty holiday make up, but very dramatic. I like when she looks softer and not so harsh in her make up style. Dramatic & harsh, looks better on a much older woman. That’s why Baria can pull it off. Again, less is more on Amal. She does not need dark eyes, dark lips, dark cheeks, dramatically painted eyebrows, dark shadows or contours to “pull out features”. She looks much better delicate, a soft touch, no drama, & easy on the make up.

    1. I agree about the makeup. For instance, she looks ravishing when she doesn’t wear such bold eye liner, and just lines the upper part of her eyelid, not the bottom eyelid. Compare the makeup she’s wearing with her silver outfit versus the makeup she’s wearing with the peach and red dresses. The really dramatic eye makeup doesn’t really suit her because she already has prominent [beautiful] features. Actually, I don’t know when such dramatic eye makeup really suits ANYONE – Tilbury looks absolutely horrible with the dramatically made-up eyes in the previous post. It’s really makeup for the stage.

  2. Wow- they totally airbrished and photoshopped Amal on that magazine- Look at how the bra is not showing anymore and her arms are flawless. Thats a shame because shes fine as is- they dont need to photoshop her- we like her just the way she is! Nat- any idea what Amal is up to these days- we dont see her as much and this is bothering me HAHA!

      1. very nice mention of a report that’s warming up wellknown = old facts and photos ….

why don’t you mention on your blog the fact that Amal & her colleagues got dumped for good from the elgin marbles case by the greek government? it’s all over the internet, just not in your blog…..

      2. Andree, that’s old news – and was discussed at length by many of us here. All credit to Nati, she published every comment on the subject that I submitted.

    1. That is not the real Amal on the cover! She has been photoshopped to the maximum and all her imperfections have been made to disappear as is by magic! Do you like to live in a fantasy world where everything is not what they appear to be then?

  3. Why have they changed Amal’s eye color? If you compare the identical photo from the previous post (all photos), she has a dark brown iris, not light brown. Was there a reason for the photoshop?

I think her natural eye color suits her more than the light color (photoshop).

    Any thoughts?

    1. I’m guessing they changed her eye color (to a lighter shade) to make her look exotic. It looks like a “tiger eye” look. Mystical & exotic is what I think they were trying to portray.

  4. Nati, all the comments for your story “Amal Clooney spotted in Valentino in London’s Mayfair” have disappeared! Since you changed the theme of your blog, things are going haywire here!

  5. Nati, don’t get worried about any hitches on the blog. It is wonderful you have created this for us and we are grateful to be invited. As many have said before me ,you do a great job and we are thankful for all you do for us in your busy life.
I have to disagree about the make up, I think it suits her well and she also looks good with less make up but ” harsh strong” make up is usually not flattering as we age and older women usually look best with a softer look. This is a well known fact but of course there is always an exception to the rule.
This is the red dress photo that is probably my absolute favourite, hot, demure, sexy, classy all at once, sorry for repeating myself but it is an awesome look.😀
The photo with George and the adopted dog continues to warm my heart, and Amal looks so naturally beautiful and happy. However I am still disappointed by the fur jacket situation. If the fur is real it is such a harsh contrast to the lovely smiling lady at the dog shelter, SHE is the woman I genuinely like and admire and who inspires others.🐶

    1. I really would like to know, which outfits would be chosen by all of us here as the most beautiful.
Something like an opion poll????? Do not know whether this is the right word.

I could tell within some minutes my favorite Outfits of the last 1 and a half year.
Nati, what do you think? the last question: who destroyed you rblock, so that all These beautiful pics are lost?????

  6. Nati haven’t you considered moving your blog to somewhere else? Where there will be no problems with maintaining everything? WordPress doesn’t really seem to reach the minimum expectations of a serious blogger.

Even Vogue has placed them (Amal and the Kardashians) side by side now and in the same category. Wow. I wonder why Anna Wintour would do this to Amal – it will influence the public’s perception further into thinking Amal is shallow and vain. Amal needs to rethink her image branding as she is being cast out of the serious humanitarian lawyer role and into a socialite and fashionista.

    1. Anna: How do you know that just because they are side by side they are in the same category. I think you are reading into something that does not exist. People’s impression of Amal are based on their own opinions/biases/assumptions that they read into a photo and nothing more.

    2. I agree Anna. For me personally, I’m confused how to perceive Amal. I’ve really unintentionally have stepped away from seeing a professional woman at work to a cat-walk haute couture fashionista. I’ve kind of lost touch with who & what she’s really about because we see her more in the designer & make up world than the professional white collar role. Perhaps she should shift to a 2nd. and new career? Maybe it’s more her knitch to be famous for marrying fame, rather than famous for quietly , but fervently, tackling a case. I’ve said this before–I don’t see her practicing law for the long haul. It’s just my opinion. She’s on a level of “unobtainable” now with colleagues. Even to the point of walking 20 feet in front of them to approach the media circus. Can you imagine her going to the office every day dripping in $20,000 worth of clothes and high glam hair and flawless make up? That would be hard for her colleagues to swallow every single day. Especially if she throws in the hair toss as she walks around the office. I think as time goes on (if not already), it will be very challenging for them to relate to her and vise-versa; professionally as well as personally.

  9. The photo at the top is one that I do not recall ever seeing before…do you know what she is wearing? I absolutely love the colors, texture, & fabric of the top (or dress, top, tunic, blazer?) It’s just below the title “Amal Clooney Style”. 🙂

  10. Not a fan of Tilbury’s make up…it looks very AVON & very LAURA GELLAR. Amal would look more flattering in other make up lines. I’m not suggesting low quality (by the way), but rather the color selection–all 3 have the same color palettes and options. Not a fan of Tilbury. Plus it is so ridiculously overpriced. If I’m going to spend $45-$50 dollars on a lipstick (which I don’t & wouldn’t), it’s sure not going to be Tilbury……It’s going to be Tom Ford! By the way, Amal would look so much better in Tom Ford. Fresh, Clean, Youthful, Soft, Delicate. Tilbury’s color palette makes a woman look OLD! Amal looks very old & too mature…and at times “Downton Abbey looking ” with the too dark plum-y lip and shadow colors. And brick lipstick colors. If Amal’s going to pay the price—she should choose Tom Ford, which would flatter her most. 🙂

  11. I think Amal is a woman whose marriage to a celebrity hasn’t changed her . She has her job and continues to do it. The press interest comes from her being the wife of George Clooney. They lead a public and private life and are good at keeping their private life private. Her job is what she loves and therefore she continues to work which is quite commendable , considering her husband is a multimillionaire.
Amal is a woman young women should look too as a role model. Classy, intelligent and educated ..
