I think it is just the outfit and the poor lighting, she looks the same to me, i think her genetics is super thin, even if she ate a lot, still thin, but she embraces that and takes advantage of it. I dont think a baby is on the way yet.. but what do i know, right? 🙂

Both of them look so beautiful & complimentary in their wardrobe. From what we can see of this dress & style is so beautiful! It almost appears like a “jump suit” or “romper” underneath. Or shorts & a bodice. I feel it’s a lovely choice for this particular place! Check out the view in one of the photographs, overlooking the water. It’s just so beautiful! Wow, who wouldn’t want to spend their summer like this ??!! I suppose a nice summer of memories before they sell this place in Lake Como. Appears they might be there, at least through September to celebrate a 1st. anniversary. Perhaps? I think it’s wonderful how they are enjoying each and every day together. No pressures on either to work or commit to anything. George appears to treat Amal very very well. Sweet Life! 🙂

Don’t George and Amal ever eat at home? I know she doesn’t cook, but they have plenty of money with which to hire a private chef. Unless, of course, eating out is an excuse for Amal to show off a super-expensive designer outfit every time they step out (which is daily, it seems.) I think Amal likes too much the fame that goes with being Clooney’s wife. Her life has become a succession of endless photo ops in designer clothing, and she is certainly lapping it up! It is all excessive! For a woman who supposedly has a lofty career as an international rights lawyer and was an inspiring example of what women can become, Amal has succumbed to celebrity fame-whoring and thinification with open arms, which certainly doesn’t send the right message to young women. She may have an important job, but it appears what’s become more important to her are photo ops, not eating and wearing ridiculously expensive and outlandish clothing. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt at the beginning, but I’m disappointed in what she’s let herself become – George Clooney’s ticket to being taken seriously.

Amal Clooney’s mother never cooked and Amal was so educated. She wants to be perfect for her husband and her husband is quite proud about her. That is her life. A fairytale. The most beautiful things are the love and passion between them.

Cara, I once shared your feelings about Amal but not anymore. She just loves clothes so much that she wants to wear them instead of letting them hang in her closet. I admire that because I always fear that I’m overdressed when I go out. She just does it. But it also means that she attracts attention. I don’t think she stands in front of her closet thinking, hmm, what can I wear that would make me the center of attention? The attention is just a consequence. If she really was an attention seeker, she would have f.e. given personal interviews already. She doesn’t go out looking for attention but she doesn’t mind either, when it does happen that people notice her and I think that’s because she’s so confident. The attention almost doesn’t seem to surprise her. Some might find this a “negative” character trait. But it’s probably best this way when you’re married to someone famous because otherwise, she would be pretty miserable.
But what surprises me most here, is that they’re just by themselves and no other people with them. That’s a rare sight!

Claudia! Don’t be too hard on Amal. What makes me realise that there is true love between them is the way they look at each other and how Amal puts her head on George’s shoulder. Who knows how their relationship will play out but right now they are happy and that is a truly precious thing.

I don’t think she had changed. She bought expensive clothes before. Her wardrobe could be bigger now because of the gifts but I think the only new thing in her life apart the love is the paparazzi. Now you see her clothes and her style. But I think her perfectionist style and her love for the luxury is the same. And photographs represents 1 minute a day of a 24 hours a day. Really we don’t know too much about the rest of her life.

I agree with you Vero. I cant understand why (besides hate) the people who come here, (such as “Janice” , Clara santander) to say she does not feel they are in love… what is there to not feel? It is absurd the kind of judgement people make… the couple is living love, a lovelly and romantic life, they are so together, it shows, and these haters come here to do what they do at the Daily Mail and other websites; they vent hate, they spread their evil negativity, because nothing pleases them. I sincerelly dont understand why nati publishes such comments..!:! it is more than obvious theese comentators have a hidden agenda to disseminate hate against this couple and Amal. It is not a sincere (or true) point of view, but the venting of is someone who sees grey, dark in their eyes, where there are only collors and colorful god things to see, but they see only darkness. Cara, in a way I agree with you, personally a perfect wife has to be able to cook, but in this way I am maybe too oldfashionned and definitevely another culture 🙂 However. although I am an hobby cooker, when I am on vacation I never do that, even when we spend our holidays in appartments or villas. Do not forget that in Italy August is very festive (on 15.08. they celebrate Ferragosto) everybody is in partyfeeling, everybody goes out, meets friends and relatives. Days and nights are often too warm, nobody would like to spend his time backing or cooking 😉

This is George’s summer he loves Italy and the food , he goes to his favorite restaurants regularly. George has a staff and I’m sure he gives them time off to enjoy their evenings as well. Amal lives her life within the confines of being papped, as for her liking the attention she smiles and gets on with her life. She is not fame whoring she is no actress she is spending time with her husband enjoying being married and together.

I’ve been excited to check the blog to see if there was an ID updated on this dress. Happy to see all the updates. The color of this outfit is even more pretty! To me “Tuscany” comes to mind. I’m not sure why, but it does. A lot of people might disagree (so I gather from many of the posts), but I find this to be one of my top 5 outfits. I like the color on her. I like the summer “jumpsuit/romper” meets evening sheer dinner elegance. If that makes any sense. I also like how George is dressed. I think they compliment. I really like the setting, the dinner location and with this in mind, I think this outfit is a winner in my book. It goes with the mood of the evening. Romance, Love & Memories. 🙂

I agree with you Jaclyn:) Amal looks like a hot italian mamamia in this outfit, great color for her, love that pic she is framed at the door smiling… a head-turner for sure:) It is so hot in Italy in the summer time that one wants to be naked if possible 🙂 I like the place too, i just wish the chairs and couch at the lounge on picture, were not so hotel style…. kind turns me off because it should be more hommy, warm colors and texture on the couch fabrics… my opinion…. still a romantic, elegant setting for sure:)

My husband and I went to this place for our honeymoon. It’s a magical place in that you can feel the Lake Como breeze, feel the history of the hotel and also hear jazz music on the piano, played by the man by the door they exited from. From the photos, the place they are sitting is a little bit out of the main area where the entrance is – about 50 m away. It’s a little bit more private. I guess they like to go out because what’s the other alternative? Being stuck at home to get the privacy that you want. I think they go out because they like the area and want to have a bit of a ‘normal’ life, having dinner – despite the con of the paparazzi.

Thanks Nadia. The only thing that was a bit weird about Villa D’este was that there was only a handful of people there in honeymoon. We stayed for one week, so it was enough time to see the turn over of people. The clientele were mainly really old rich men with younger women or older couples with the woman having a lot of plastic surgery. So, despite it being a wonderful place, you needed to get a bit of privacy or stay on your balcony overlooking the lake, otherwise you are surrounded by couples with great age disparities, or women trying to hold on tight to their youth. It was very rare to find couples like us who are both self made, higly educated and seemed more equal.

In any case, it seems George and Amal were not aware to being photographed in those…my impression… it seems they have a strong control with the paps on when or not to be photographed, because we dont see as much pics of them… less and less these days.

There wasn’t any paparazzi around. From the angle where the photo of Amal and George was taken, it wouls have been fairly high up. And there are only a few places you can do that from that perspective. I’d say that unfortunately the paparazzi gets prior notice that they are arriving or have arrived on site to get the pics. I guess as much as I find the couple intriguing, we are part of the drive that makes the paparazzi go to unusual lengths to get a shot.

That is how we show arms and sholders in such a sexy way Amal. I love the change from those other sleeve-less cuts:) This dress is so dreamy, romantic, delicate, feminine.. i just wish George had a different outfit. This black suit really ruins it for me, and this shirt with those stripes is made for office… It would had been nicer a lighter collor, a more relaxed jacket, more vibrant color…but hey, than ks he is not wearing the tequila shirt to match (not) Amal’s lovelly dress hahaha

I agree that her hands tell a lot. They say that she is not really comfortable in her own skin in front of the camaras. She is either holding something, keys, phone, coffee. She mightt be artificially placing her index finger and thumb together, or she has them contorted in some way. To me, these are “tells” that she is aware and very self-conscience when the photographers are around. I would be. She looks beautiful in that color.

Just read the most stupid and ridiculous thing about our Amal yet. Idiots are saying she wants to be a reality television person and replace Donald Trump for the Apprentice show in USA. Like Amal just wants to be a network puppet for fame.
She has no experience in business things because she has been so real and focused making difference in real things helping real people be better in life as humanitarian. THEY think she would be low and stupid to have time as cheap show for money and fame.
Like her George would not know that is beneath them and everybody would laugh saying Amal is all the fame Kardashian the haters say she is now.

I totally dsibelieve any turth on those humors. Amal would not even consider such gig. It does not suits her, it makes no sense.. it is just some tabloids looking for visitors on their sites they publish whatever seems to drag people to their sites. Amal must be laughing with such tabloids. She does not suits the bill, it is not for her,.. and i doubt even if it was, that she would take it. I bet by now she has had so many TV offers for all kinds of projects. She wil pass.. and this too shall pass… until they come up with a new idea to grab attention form readors. Tabloids are terrible! Did you see how Amals firm website and Robertson dismissed all the false tabloids about the suposedly Greek gov refusing Amals 150 pages file with advise to sue the Brit gov?? Jan, I think a lot of times the celebrity will inform the restaurant ahead of time that they will permit & give permission to a certain number of photographs. 1. It’s a way for them to control what photos are released by giving permission. 2. It puts the restaurant/location on the map, a nice boost for the business. 3. These places get “tipped” off a head of time. It’s no accident there was a photographer there. Again, it’s a way for them to control what’s released. Sometimes it’s planned.

The pictures are not that great and it does not look at all that the couple was aware of any pics being takne, dont you get that feeling? It seems Amal had no clue she was being photographed, neither did George…my impressions is that these are candid camera or snooper cell phone pics 🙂

Looks like a fun place for dinner. I’m not particularly fond of the ensemble mostly because because I think the designer isn’t that great – but if anyone could make it look good, it’s Amal!

I like this outfit. It’s a great color on her and has the classic “edgy” feel that she wears that looks good on her. This isn’t over the top, either. I do feel sorry for them that they can’t even sit at a table and enjoy a glass of wine without someone taking their picture from behind. It must be tiring to be in a bubble like that ALL the time. They know they are celebrities and will get their photos taken by the Paps and others…but they are still just two normal married people who like to go out, sit, drink wine and look at a beautiful lake together.

European women in her class always dress for dinner. It’s their culture. They don’t go out in yoga pants or ripped jeans or those stupid get-ups that so many American celebrities wear. She loves to dress up and look nice for herself and George. I think it is refreshing. She wears fresh, classic and sophisticated attire that suits her body type. I think they look adorable together.

I think they are a wonderful and inspiring couple and always feel fresh and uplifting looking at them. What I most admire about Amal is that she is almost always smiling and seems to be a really positive person with a great sense of humour – who else is able to keep their smile while constantly being hounded by photographers? And Amal is amazing dresser and has such a novel and unique fashion approach irrespective of who buys her clothes or where they come from. But I do wonder where she finds the time to fit everything in? Clothes, hair, nails, pedi, mani, dinners out (no wonder there is no time to cook) and a career to keep up with – I would be draining in stress and Amal smiles through it all …..

I dont see it that hard Jaclyn, because first we dont see her everyday, only ocasionally…maybe she has lots of bad hair days, bad mani-pedi-cure days like all of us. Lets say she is in a hotel, most of those have their own salons that can provide such room services and that takes no much time, as if she had to drive there. Money can faciliate so much one’s life in time saving. I actually find her agenda very easy to accpmplish on her position, her job can be done remotelly too… and the outfits are ready to go. I dont have the impression she stares at loads of them before she makes a decision on which to wear, that is why we see her many misses and fashion faux-pas which we have learned to enjoy. She comes across to me as very easy-going, spontaneous and is already well sank in her nature to perhars be organized, timelly, so no much strugle to fit it all in. Besides he has no kids! again, extra money in the pocket is a nice commodity for sure:) (not top confuse with hapyness though:) ) But i know many women who are just like that; they are very organized, and do double of what i can do with one hour time, my sister is like that. She always mangages to go out lookig great and does it super fast 🙂
