Amal and George Clooney  held an Independence Day party on a yacht moored outside the Villa Oleandra on the Lake Como.
Among the guests who joined George and Amal for an on-the-water fireworks display were Julia Roberts and her husband Daniel Moder.

Amal Clooney wore a gold/burgundy zig zag dress with beige ankle toe boots and glittering cascade earrings. I couldn’t find a right picture of the dress. George Clooney carried Amal’s clutch.

  4. She seems over dressed compared to all 12 or so guests. That is no yacht…as described in the article. Do not care for the dress (so short) or the funky shoes (they look like the shoes Daffy Duck’s girlfriend wears in cartoons). It is nice to see George with his arm around her !!!!!!!. George is looking old and rough !!

  10. The mayor stipulates that whoever that invade their privacy in Lake Como will be fined 600 euros. Are you prepared to pay these fines?

    1. The fines are for people who are too close to the villa and on boats on the water . Basically the paps taking pictures. Or fans who ring the bell and park outside and block the road. People posting will not be fined.

  16. Beautiful pictures! Both of their outfits look great together. Amal & George look adorably cute! Especially the pictures with her head on his shoulder and his arm around her as they watch fireworks! So romantic! George looks handsome in his summer white shirt along with his tan and light color pants and slip on shoes. And Amal looks stunning & beautiful in the festive Missoni dress! Super choice for the occasion. The shoes look fantastic with the dress; great color choice & great style! Amal’s make up and hair look really great, too! Actually, George’s hair looks good, as well. Lake Como, sun-kissed skin, fireworks, family, friends, fun, food, Fourth of July,…..it doesn’t get any better than this, right? 🙂

  21. I love this blog. I check it every day! I LOVE this dress.. it is not Missoni though!! I just spoke to Missoni Boutique in NYC and they said not Missoni
    Wish we could find out whose it is for it is gorgeous!!

  22. I have been following George for a long time and seen him through a lot of relationships, I have never seen him this happy or open about his personal life. I think he and Amal are the right fit for each other.

  25. I wish I knew what hair products she uses. Amal’s hair is always lustrous, illuminating, and shiny. I wish her hair dresser would please come forth and do tell what products are used on her hair! I wonder who cuts, styles, and colors her hair. I’m sure the answer will come out eventually. 🙂
