    1. Latest outfits seem like an attempt to look modern and edgy. Just like any type of art … all the pieces should flow and work harmoniously. There is always ONE part of the outfit that’s off. Either it’s the try-hard earrings or the torn, ripped jeans or pumps that should have been replaced with a gladiator sandal or something. It’s never completely, there. Now, I said it.

        ” or is this really her own style?” Chicken or the egg argument. Many of the items she wears are on trend on the runways. So is it “her own style” technically no. She interprets the trends but they always fall J U S T this S H O R T.

        She should not interchange her work bag for her casual outfits. Rarely does it ever work — if she’s going for the editorial, straight-off-the-runaway, Elle Magazine “Street Style” feature.

      5. @Yasmeen, thank you. I do work in fashion. Style and personal taste is so subjective. Amal’s style seems so schizophrenic. Her only consistency seems to show through in her work-related outfits. In terms of going-out, it’s all-over-the-place. It’s “interesting” how she’s been labeled a “style icon” because although she has access to some of the most sought after and expensive designers – true style shines through with how one edits and pulls together all elements of a “look.” But, look style is so subjective. One person’s Olivia Palermo is another person’s Amal Clooney.

  4. Love love love the handbag! Really like the jumpsuit too, but it would look better if Amal had a bit of a tan. I think it is a look more appropriate to the south of France than in London on a grey day.
    And those poor toes…still trying to escape from their painful prison!

  5. She’s always traveling, on the go and yet together. I’d get so confused with where my clothes were when, which house, which city. Ach! Makes my head spin.
    She does it tho and looks so fab. She lives a life, I guess, many of us dream in 🙂
    Thank goodness for Georgie Amal doesn’t mind the camera nor the press. It’s a refreshing couple. So happy for them. I pray for them everyday!
    I know this sight is a modern day shoppers catalogue and Amal is really a perfect model for it!
    I’m sure it will change when babies come but, for now it’s wonderful because it’s great to be able to dream…

    1. Haven’t heard of the designer but I too totally love those earrings. Other things by the designer are very cool 😎. Worth a look. I love this blog for introducing me to new looks and to designers I havent heard of like this jewellery designer. 😊

  10. I really like this. The only thing that’s a bit off is the proportions ie. it should either finish mid-calf or be toe-skimming. As it is on Amal, it’s neither one thing nor the other and looks unbalanced. The truly gruesome shoes don’t help. Were the jumpsuit shorter/longer and paired with either flats or a strappy sandal, it would have looked so much better.

    But other than that, I love the fabric/colour/style.

  11. I don’t think this is particularly flattering to her small bust. Just seems out of proportion all over her body. I don’t like the earrings, but I like the color of the shoes and purse with it. It’s not the worst thing she’s worn, but it’s in the lower 25% of things I’ve liked. I think in this pick you can really tell that she does wear hair extensions. The sunglasses i like.

  14. Hm. This outfit does nothing for me. The spikes on the earrings are so huge, they almost look dangerous. If I was wearing that jumpsuit, I’d have wanted longer inseams for the legs. Also, I don’t get the belt loops on the back? They seem kind of pointless. But, I like the color and fabric, as well as the overall cut. Not a fan of the shoes or the bag, except their color.

  19. I love this outfit. Very cool and funky. Don’t know about the shoes though. They cut the ankle at the wrong place and are not the right proportions for the jumpsuit.

    Nevertheless, Amal is, as usual, so innovative and surprising in her choices that she is fascinating to watch.

  24. I am so impressed with Amal’s ability to wear such very high heels, and to wear them when going to an airport where even First class passengers have to walk long distances. I love the shoes. There’s a similar style at http://www.mipiaci.co.nz – look for Robin. It’s a similar shoe but not as high!

  25. Interesting & unique styling to this outfit. At one angle, I found myself thinking, “I love this outfit!”. At another angle, I found myself surprised & thinking, “Ah, I don’t think I like this so much.” And this repeated for me a few times. I’m still not sure, I like it or not. It’s definitely cute on Amal. I love the “texture” & color of this fabric. I like the back darts/pockets, which gives it a classier & tasteful finish. Not so sure I like the back belt loops…..but WOW! Just think how cute this outfit would look if Amal does decide to wear it with a wide brown leather belt to match the bag and/or shoes!!!! This would be a cute look, too. I also like the gold buttons in the front, which gives it a “sailor pants” look. It gives it a summer look. I’m not such a big fan of the No Bra look. Looks like she has purchased new luggage. Shoes are cute. I still feel for her and the condition of her toes and feet. She seems too young for them to seem so crippled and knarled. Overall, cute outfit, but I politely agree with LuLu, it’s not a. “top pick”, but maybe in lower end of 25%. 🙂

  29. I rarely criticize Amal’s fashion choices but I’m not a fan of this outfit. I too think the front is flattering enough but the back not so much. I’m not sure if it’s because of the design or the way it fit Amal. The belt loops On the backside seem silly. The leg length also didn’t seem as flattering. Love the color and the military button detailing.

    Amal almost always look good and at ease with whatever she wears. And always pleasant when being captured by the camera. It would be so easy for her to scowl at the camera when she’s is going about her business but she chooses to accept it with grace.

  30. I remember seeing George on a TV interview years and years ago. He said he used to work in a shoe store in a mall and he joked that he never got any hot customers…it was always just old ladies with hammer toes. I always remember that story when I see Amal’s feet. The irony is he got a hot chick but she has hammer toes.

    1. HaHaHa I remember seeing that interview, too, Daisy! I thought the same thing. I feel sorry for the condition of her feet at such a young age! The condition of her feet are that of a much older woman. Amal is only in her 30’s. I just turned 48 and am thankful my feet are not at all in that condition. I’m a marathon runner and baby my feet. I wear open toe heels, heels with no pointy toes, open sandals, and I allow my feet to relax & breathe on weekends and allow my toes to spread out in a wider shoe when I can. High heel pointy shoes 7 days a week and 16 hours a day is a bad bad idea!

      1. I am sure that wearing sunglasses helps when dealing with the paparazzi. To emerge from a place to a gang of photographers all clicking at the same time must be daunting to even the most seasoned celebrity. It would allow a degree of a sense at least of privacy. But that does lead me to a question for Nati. How many different pairs does she have? I am amazed, and envious, of her collection!

    2. My guess is that it’s a part of the whole outfit. It seems she likes to be photographed with always a bag in hand and always a pair of sunglasses, rain or shine. She was even wearing sunglasses at the movie premier in LA, on the red carpet, the one she took her niece to. I think they are always just part of the outfit she picks out for the day. Rain or Shine, she has them on the top of her head or on her eyes. 🙂

    3. Sunglasses? Maybe for the simple reasons that they help to prevent cataracts and wrinkles. Seems like a smart idea to me. And besides they look great and hide tired eyes!!
