Amal Clooney was spotted in London yesterday. She looked fantastic with her pastel tones tweed suit by Giambattista Valli with pointed cut out pumps and her Dior bag.No doubt she is back to work and with style.

She was spotted outside the 5 Hertford Street Club a private members along Shepherds Market in London.

With big thanks to Jill, we have clear pictures of Amal’s outfit. Amal’s suit is from the F/W 15-16 Giambattista Valli and is available here at Tinker Tailor :

  1. Thank you for the pics.
    AC looks beautiful.
The Valli Dress is great, classical but the back view is WOW.
Giambattista Valli is as adorable as AC.

    Have a nice day

  2. Now I saw the Paparazzi:
I would like to have her clothes but never would like to change with her life.
Thank heavens that I am not such a beautiful, interesting and successful woman as AC.

But I think the hype about Amal Clooney has just started.
Low Fashion industry may just have discovered her style, every piece she wears will be sold out or copied for the portemonnaie of almost everyone.
Hmmm, I hope she won’t have to hide.
    We will see …

  3. Just gorgeous! So feminine and lady-like, and like Nereida says: “So classic and classy”. A perfect outfit for Spring in the City (ANY city!) Good outfit for a June wedding, too. I would love it in my wardrobe, but I would need another inch or two skirt length. Don’t want to be seen as “Mutton dressed as lamb”!

  4. PS. Amal is photographed just out side the Hertford Street Club in London. It is a popular private club started by the son of Mark Birley who gave us Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar (London), and George. Believe me, there are plenty more people inside this private restaurant who will also be “popped” when they leave!

    1. Psemsk…
Thanks for the insight. I like knowing things like this. Do we know for sure that she actually came out of that Club…or is that just a given?

  5. PPS Spellcheck struck again. I wrote ” papped” as in Papparazzi, but Spellcheck changed it to “popped” before I noticed. Apologies.

      1. Hi Nati, aren’t these are the same shoes she wore at April 15th with the Oscar de la renta suit at the Columbia University?

That woman can wear everything: she is just beautiful. I can really understand, that Designers send all these clothes to her .. perhaps without charging… She is a super Model . Not because being married to George Clooney. Just a joy to look at.

      2. Yes, they are the same pumps. i think the same, she can wear what she wants and she will be amazing. And currently, she is the only one who wears office clothing and is in the magazines.

  7. I think the lavender is a pretty color on her, and I like the style and length of the skirt. I did not like the beige color in the trim at all. It sort of ruined the look for me. Black would have been edgier and at least worked with the lavender. Lipstick was okay, a bit more muted would have been better.

    1. I like the lilac on her too and the suit. I love the sleeves and the back but not the colour in the trim. I prefer that the jacket would have had a more fitted cut. About the bag I think the leo printed Valli’s bag would have been a good option for me, for example.

  8. This ensemble is so beautiful. I love her on the lilac type colors. It is fun to see her in work wear for some daily styling inspiration. Lipstick color is so pretty.

  9. Hey Nati
Great job again. The pumps in your found/sourced picture are definitely satin/silk with diamontees or crystals – she wouldn’t wear them as a barrister by day – her shoes are actually leather and think she has worn them before.
Fantabulous look – and yes you are right – she knew as she always does that she would be photographed – she needs to get the focus back on her credentials not as a walking ad for those who dress her. She spent decades studying and working for being more important than the clothes that “hang” off her.
    Gorgeous girl but wrong message

  10. Love the suit and the shoes….and I like the bag but I don’t think it goes well with this outfit. In my opinion it’s too ‘heavy’, too winter, too dark for the outfit…and overshadows the that great suit. Would have liked it with a tan/camel/beige bag.

  11. Great outfit, as usual! But – I don’t like the back of the jacket/sweater. It would have looked better in the tweed.

    1. Not her best work outfit. The seleeves (sp??) appear to be too short and the pockets make her look flat. Just my opinion.

    2. Amal looks lovely, fresh, classy, always great with her work outfit choices.

However…i have to agree with you vavashagwell, i appreciate this lilac color on her, but i am not crazy about the back and the sleeves either…. and, for some reason, even with the other similar suit she had for the Colombia lecture, something seems a bit odd or out of place with this fabric, it does not flows with the cut, it seems. I am not a pro on that, it i just feels to me that the fabric struggles with the cut…. ?!?

  12. Amal is stylish and while each component
of this ensemble is fine for me this Look is
is just OK too off white shoes look nice with
the suit but the black bag is too harsh
and then tortoise shell sunglasses ? Too busy
If you must drag out a fall bag in the summer
then pair it with black glasses for balance!

    1. You made a very good fashion point Beverley, i agree with you. The overall is nice but if you tear it apart then i would critic the same points you made …but i would state: “if you must drag a > BLACK < bag in the summer then pair it with black glasses for balance!".

Black glasses would had done it better, in my humble opinioussss 😉

      1. Nadia, i totally agree with you concerning the glasses.
I usually act like this but Amal doesn’t and this fact is quite interesting. This circumstance too makes her style so remarkable for me.
Many women wear high class fashion but they get boring in their expensive perfectness.
AC’s style ist fresh, a little bit edgy, relaxed and not so predictable.
        Another example:
Maybe the sleeves should be longer, but she wears it. It does not matter. 🙂
        Love it.

      2. Yes Samba… for sure Amal has her own way of breaking what we may call “fashion rules”:) Thta is one of the things that entices me, even though i critic the points whear she flaws, i kind of like that she is quite unpredictable and a fashion “rule ” breaker…sort of 🙂

  13. Amal has changed …not smiling and laughing anymore, not touching her hair. Her face is also changed since the Met Gal, very smooth now, like the result of using botox and filler

    1. For a professional look i actually like the ninsmiling, not giggly amal. It looks more professional that the girlish hairtoss. Honestly there will always be something that bothers some people. When she giggles we criticize, when shes serious, we criticize. She is presumably coming from a business meeting so this look on her face is quite appropriate. Im a doctor and for work when i have to meet with patients im quite serious and contemplative however when im with friends or going out im with giggly and more outgoing. This demeanor is actually one of the more appropriate looks she has

  14. Amal always looks so beautiful. I like the color and overall look of the suit on her. That jacket looks comfortable – somewhat structured, but with a knit back and arms that allow for some “give.” Again, the skirt could be a bit longer, in my opinion, and I’d *love* to see her sporting some comfortable-but-feminine flats, but it’s her choice not to. Given her plethora of beautiful bags, I wonder why she chose the black bag when it doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the outfit?

      1. I would venture a guess in that her “wardrobe” may not be entirely in London. Traveling must be a bear with multiple pieces to accommodate her vast collection of purses, totes, shoes, coats and more accessories – some of which she has used on different occasions.

      2. Samba, her black bag matches the car too hehehe…BTW i am really enjoying the nice cushioning look and feel of this SUV interior,… look at it!! It screams comfort…i wonder if it is a Cadillac?!?…Cadillac makes such conformable car interiors….ummm looks so elegant…to drive the elegant Lady A. 🙂

  15. Beautiful and very classy look. It reminds me of 1960’s style. I appreciate that Amal brings back some stylish and sophisticated patterns from the past into the modern outfits. Thanks to that, her style seems timeless and not over-the-top. I think that vintage fashion is appropriate for every occasion. I hope to see more vintage-inspired looks of Amal Clooney in the future, whatever it is 1960’s, 1970’s or even 1940’s!
The only thing that I’d like to add is that this suit would be better on her with different colour maybe. Anyway, I adore the bag and accessories and it seems that Amal’s professional style is definitely one of the best!
Thank you for keeping up with all news.

  16. As usual, she looks great. The stress of trying to do her job, while constantly being watched and photographed MUST be exhausting. How is she supposed to focus on her work? She’s much stronger than me because I would have gone into hiding by now.

  17. The shoes look like something you would wear with a bridal gown. They also look cheap. I also do not like Chanel knock off suits. Not her best.
