    1. Masreya – I think you are right. I would imagine that this guy is a bodyguard/driver/security and I would imagine they hire a company in each city they are in. Just a guess. Someone needs to push back on the paps and hey, that’s a big ring. 🙂

  2. Now THAT’S more like it! Young, yet age appropriate; stylish, yet not Fashion Victim; casual and relaxed, yet not bordering on ‘grunge’; and looking very refreshed and happy and ‘herself’. Welcome back, Amal!

  3. I love this look…she looks comfortable and happy in her own skin. It must be nice for her to be back home/London for a change. She was allover the place in the last few months accompaning George and adjusting to a new life style in front of the eyes of everyone. I think she is strong enough to integrate the changes into her life but we should expect ups and downs in this early stage of marriage and life adjustment anyway. I love her humanity, automaticity and her ups and down.

I am a in home therapist at http://www.blindkids.org and I learned about this blog from one of my clients who her baby was born with no eyes. Since her baby was born (around Amal’s wedding date) this blog is serving as an outlet to my client. As she can follow a fascinating person like Amal and give
herself a break from her own life adjustment as a new parent of a child with visual impairment. I am so honored that my client trusted me with her “private outlet” and when I checked this blog I must admit that I am now hooked as well. Ironically my client is a lawyer and she is managing to keep her day job like Amal while adjusting to been a mom of a very special baby.

Again, I love Amal’s relaxed look here and the way she is able to bounce back and relax.

    1. As a therapist who works with children, I would venture a guess that your post is in violation of HIPPA regulations and a violation of this family’s privacy. While no names are mentioned, there is certainly enough information to make this person feel uncomfortable. If I was this new mother, I would not be happy with you posting this information in a public forum, not matter how good your intentions are.

      1. FYI .. You raised a valid leagal concern but/and an appropriate leagal permission from my client was obtained…she is a lawyer and actually encouraged me to join this blog and share about her. I would never never exploit a client…people with children with special needs can enjoy fashion and relatinoships too…HIPPA helps protects clients privacy but also shows the path for appropriate sharing info on-line and in public. At this point of my life I would never risk my license…I worked very hard to get it. I am also very protective of my client’s privacy. I admire thier strengths, humanity and choices they make about life. I am very supportive of my client’s admiration for Amal and Nati’s blog. It’s a great healthy outlet for her.🌀
I must admit I enjoy this blog myself.

  4. Yes, just as I said 2 days ago on your blog…she is back in London and she and George are soon heading to Shang Hai. 🙂
Glad to see she has a bodyguard and/or traveling not alone…it’s much safer & paparazzi will stand their ground & keep distance. I’m glad they are building & adding a safe room/ panic room to their home in London! 🙂

…and I like the boots…but Rose, I can see why you don’t. I think they are the type that you either love or hate upon first view. I think they’re interesting….fashion boots with the heel but yet fur lined. Nati – no pressure but I’d love to see a better shot of them.

I love the idea of a long black cardigan but I don’t like this specific one.
However, kudos to her – she can even make *that* cardigan work in this outfit!

Nati – are you living in London? Will you be at the premiere today?

  7. Obviously you are not well educated, since your comments are silly and rubbish. You seem to be a very dumb person, some housewife or divorcee or what ever since you have so much time for following Amal and some other dumb so-called celebrities despite having two children. Obviously you have no life of your own, you are living through other people’s life – what a shallow, useless creature you are! Wasting your time and energy and life for chasing some silly bitches obsessed with spending thousands on fashion! You are really a complete IDIOT! GET A LIFE!

Wow…nasty comments. Unnecessary and just downright rude. I have no idea why you are so angry but there’s really no need to be so vile towards Nati or anyone. Apparently basic respect and courtesy are not your strong suit. Given your comments, I expect that you won’t be back again as certainly, you have more of a life than to follow celebrities. I’d say it was a pleasure to meet you but….

    2. Eva, what thoughtless, rude comments. Are you calling housewives and divorcees “dumb”? How do you determine that a fashion blog translates into someone wasting their time and energy?
Why did you bother to come to this site? I speak for myself that I loved finding Nati’s site about Amal’s style. I can see the work and love she puts into it. It is an enjoyable outlet (thank you, Nati!)
You obviously have a problem with anger or maybe jealousy? I hope you can get some help with those issues and then perhaps you will be able to “GET A LIFE!”

  9. Thank you ladies. My work here is done. My 4 beautiful nieces are back on track. 🎉🎈🎊🌟

Thank you all for your contributions, in replying to posts and debating points. It has given my nieces and I numerous fodder over the preceding 4 weeks, for in depth conversations about fashion… work… relationships… ‘duty’… expectations… aspirations… adulation… celebrities’ lifestyles…. professionalism… status anxiety… responsibilities… charity… vanity… greed…. publicity…. human rights… narcissism…. marketing strategies… and so much more. 🙈🙉🙊

It was a sociological experiment from my end, and I do apologise for ‘using’ this forum and coming across as ‘judgy’ and ‘annoying’ – I had an agenda and it was the means to an end😉. Boring you 😴 was not my intention and many views were an exaggeration to obtain a point and let my nieces see how others in the world thought in response to the same trigger 😠😤😎😇😏. It made for fascinating discussions and should we wish to revisit some points, it’s all documented and preserved here in Nati’s blog. Amazing opportunity and I thank the community drawn here.

Amal is 8-10 years older than my nieces and it will be very interesting to see how my ambitious beautiful girls turn out when they are Amal’s age. (My hope is, if they marry a famous Hollywood actor in 10 years time, they won’t choose to wear $30 000 worth of clothes every week!!😂) 👠💄👜💅

It’s been fun. Nati, thanks for publishing the comments that you did. With regards to the comments that you didn’t – you were probably right not to! Hehe‼️😜

Cheerio, all the best to everyone – if there is something I personally got out of this blog, it’s the feeling that I’m very very old!! Though only 2 years older than Amal, with 4 kids, a career and a 16 year old marriage……I’m feeling like a right old nanny 👵 next to Amal! It’s been very entertaining for me to compare our life stages, values and wardrobes!😩

    Au revoir Nati.
    Merci beaucoup. 😘💃💃💃

    1. Ok, I knew that there must be a certain motive behind your constant critical, judgmental comments and the belittling of every single aspect of Amal’s life. I’m glad I was right because honestly there were certain times where your comments stopped making sense to me or being fair to Amal. Now I just want to borrow your judgmental style for once and do a short analyzes of this agenda of yours.
when you first mentioned your nieces in a previous comment, I thought they are teenagers who you are admirably taking by hand and teaching them not to look at people from a black-white perceptive. However, now that I know that your nieces are actually adults, shouldn’t they be more mentally and emotionally independent for 27 and 29 years olds? Even if they are not, how exactly nitpicking the flaws of a complete stranger on an online blog will help them mature cognitively? Do you really believe that painting Amal as “bad” will help increase the depth of your niece’s outlooks? there is something weird here I don’t get. Do you sit with your nieces and they watch you as you type, or did you do carry on your agenda in discreet? Finally, I wonder if the other commenters that unknowingly played a role in your agenda feel somewhat deceived. Anyways, I wish your nieces the absolute best in life and I hope they “grow up” to be even better than Amal. Good luck to you Jon too and I hope you move on to try to at least for every flaw you find in other to find 2 good traits in them. slight cynicism is okay, but positivism is also important and needed for a person’d well-being.

      1. THANK YOU CLARA!!! I have my wow explanation to jon321: i suspect she has been in this blog before, disguised under a different name, with an even worse attitude. Now she is jon321 and has softened her style from before but still is hard for her to cover it up completely. Her Nieces story is very strange and confusing to say the least. I have a feeling she is not any of what she claims to be. She may leave the jon321 but will adopt another name. As a matter of fact i feel that she is many profiles here, many commentators in one. She is that much of a mastermind, that i have no doubt.

    2. Jon321 I think you nailed it – again. One reason we might be fascinated by Amal is that she’s so “late”. We can fantasize what it would feel like to “become princess overnight”, to get all those opportunities at a grown-up age. And that’s why we have so high expectations in her. And she got more and more girlish through being with that much older movies star with a well known preference for not so grown-up women…
So don’t give up fantasizing Jon321, STAY WITH US!

To be honest, I was a bit surprised that she didn’t attend but the more I think of it, the more I think it was a very smart move on her part. I don’t believe the excuse of being busy with work….that’s just an easy one to use….I think it was a conscious decision not to attend. Tough to be the center of attention/celebrity in your own hometown. I think she really did herself a favor here.

      2. Clara, is right, i saw an interview where he said she was working. But i think it was a great idea for her NOT to show up on this premiere. After all, it is like her home-town, no wife needs to show up in all husbands events. it was good to allow the film and the other acttors taken on central stage with George and not Amal. I think it was a great move! And after so much bad press on the Elgin Marbles case, i think it is good that she stay off the radar for a bit and get the media to focus on her career and take her more seriously. But, George said she will join him in Chiang Hai so we will see her soon, on the 22nd i think. I really want to see tTomorrowland, the trailer looks great! I wish i could see in IMAX though 😉

He loves her so very much and he also said, that his live has changed a lot, not only that he has found somebody to discuss everything with. No even the place in the wardrobe – he laughed when he said that.

So to all who People who believe that the Clooneys just got married because of money etc. – read the latest interviews. Why should he talk rubbish? He loves her. That`s it.

    1. Love the modern design, but really this place is the architectural equivalent of snake skin boots. I wonder how many acres of tropical forest were destroyed to supply all the teak and parota wood, what the carbon footprint of a place gussied up with niwala limestone from Spain, Morisca quartzite from Brazil and other furnishings from around the globe is, and how much water is wasted maintaining a lush green lawn in the middle of the Sonoran Desert (what a disappointment, Mia Lehrer, I thought you knew better than that)? Also, how many times do you think Architectural Digest had to mention Casamigos to get the photo shoot? With all the money Gerber and Clooney have, they could have demanded a state-of-the-art sustainable design.

      Like

      1. I think it’s a “classic celebrity” kind of house. With all the amenities and lux materials etc. The issue you rase about carbon footprint, is valid, but usually, the actual way of showing their wealth- celebrities I mean (besides clothes that are sth that can be outdated in a few days time) it’s properties!!! If they were concerned about the environment, then they would have to live in straw tiki’s, but that’s not happening anytime soon!!! ;)…Besides, everyone is living in cities where the carbon foorprint is of a dinosaure!!!! We are all accountable for the enviromental issues we face nowdays and in the future…celebrities are not the problem, but our general way of thinking….They just want the best that money can buy. I am not defending them, but I am not the one to throw the first stone, cause we are all at fault here. Even if they had demanded a state of the art sustainable design, they still wouldn’t have improved the environment (would have been a good start though), but still sth like that would be like a drop in the bucket, cause everyone else who don’t have the money would continue as usual….destroying our environment.

PS. Hi to the new Anna…I see we are now two 😉 🙂

      2. Now i get the feeling, that some of you here want A. and G. to live in huts, have to dress as you consider it as o.k.
The responsibility of this World lies in our hands, not just in theirs. Who are we, that we judge all the time their lifestyle? I am sure, that most of the very critical people here would live at least the same, of they had the money. Perhaps even worst.
The whole discsussion is founded on jalousy and this is very sad, because it is very interesting to listen to other people’s impression, but the negative comments do not stop here. The next critics will be: amal and george travel too much per
Aircraft. The environment suffers. Ok, shall they travel per canoe? All of us take every advantage, which we get offered nowadays, e.g in our households, Shopping by car, although the magazine is just in a 2 Miles distance, etc. etc.
My opinion: let’s talk about our behaviour and responsibility to Social life, environment etc. etc. as Anna 1st mentioned, we are all responsible for life on this planet, not only The Clooneys.

        Like

      3. Hi Anna, you’re absolutely right that we all need to be concerned about our environmental footprints, but celebrities have a special responsibility because they wield so much power and influence. For better or worse, they are role models. If this were not the case, why would we lust after Amal’s latest purse or pair of shoes?

        Like

      4. You are still correct Janet on all acounts!!!I totally agree with you….they are role models but whatever they do (ecofriendly etc) it is a good example but won’t make a big difference in a bigger picture because all the rest of us (mostly trushing our planet) are about 4 billions-gazillions people.Doesn’t mean though that we should stop trying to make our planet a better place since it is our home!!!!

    1. I read it too. That’s a very interesting article. And also very true because now the press is so in love with Amal but you know that there comes a moment when they are probably not so in love with her anymore. I just hope that she keeps out of the limelight as much as possible, like when she chose not to attend the premiere in London. I think that was a smart move. It shows that she isn’t after being a celebrity. She isn’t interested in giving interviews and appearing on TV. I think she is only truely willing to accept the attention when it comes to her cases. And I don’t think you will ever hear her speak of anything else than that in public. She might enjoy the perks of being a movie star’s wife, f.e. her close connections to Anna Wintour and designers like the late Oscar de la Renta and Giambattista Valli, which give her access to amazing clothes, but I don’t think she is interested in anything else about show business. And I’m kind of relieved about that because after all, she still is a barrister and she has to think about her credibility and being professional.

There are so many good things people with a LIFE can do aside of posting disrespectful messages. This is a blog that gives an outlet for people who enjoy Amal’s choices and fashion. I feel for you for targeting Nati for it. I wish for you to be able to take your energy and channel it to something that represents appreciation and beauty not just hate and negitivity. In my opinion it is easier to “hate” than do the work of Life.

  18. I’ve enjoyed the debates over several posts from others about the ethics /morality or other about being very rich and famous and showing it off by wearing expensive clothes and jewelry. And also the recent comments about George’s house in New Mexico. It has challenged me to consider my own life and whether what I spend money on is simply a matter of scale in relation to my own income and whether it is relevant or not to comment on George and Amal who may spend the same proportion of their income on things, just more expensive things. I have thought a lot about the principles and comments that others have expressed here and this post is really to thank those who bring these issues into the blog. Such food for thought. A great group!
