Amal Clooney was spotted having lunch at The Lambs Club on Tuesday with the editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour.

“It was a ladies’ lunch and they were having fun, joking and having a good time,” a source tells :  “Amal looked tall and stunning.”

Will we see Amal Clooney on the Vogue’s cover ?

Virtual visit :

Tuesday night, Amal was spotted at The Monkey Bar in midtown Manhattan with Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli. And for the occasion, she chose a pair of yellow-and-black chevron printed pants, paired with a feather-embellished crop top and chic black topper, all by Giambattista Valli. See my precedent post about this look.

“It looked like a pretty simple dinner between friends,” says a source.

  1. Marrying a high profile multi millionaire super star actor will bring you instant riches; access connections and private lunches with designers, special visitor faculty invites at the prestigious Columbia University, (special job assignments and opportunities, to fill in while hubby shoots a film in Long Island), and lots lots more to come. We’re all forgetting who she has married. Marrying George is a FREE pass to anything and everything. Nothing is out of the question. This includes, but not limited to: special job assignments, designers, affluent people that otherwise you would not mix & mingle with, magazine covers, special invites & private meetings, access to restaurants & clubs, special service, and the list goes on. Let us all NOT forget how influential George Clooney is. Amal will forever have instant access and special treatment/offers to virtually anything & everything. In an Instant.

  2. If Amal met Anna Wintour (like Kanye & Kim did) for dinner with the intent to appear on the cover of Vogue, then I have to say this might be disappointing. I hope Amal takes the high road and politely says “thanks but no thanks”. (As Jackie O and Caroline Kennedy would clearly do, as well as many others). If she accepts….it shouts pretentious, it shouts opportunist, it shouts I am being offered this because of marrying George. Not to mention how it shouts that Anna Wintour is out to use Amal to sell volumes of Vogue. I’m not impressed and never have been impressed by Anna Wintour. Amal should stay straight the course. In other words, maintain her career as an attorney and stay comfortable in her own skin. Suddenly she has done a total transformation to look like a super model high glam Hollywood star. She couldn’t be any further from this…aside from marrying George. And now she’s enabling herself to appear like an opportunist, fully taking advantage of the the cream of the crop people who are throwing themselves at her; designers, editors, Columbia scholars, etc. People she would have never had access to before George. The sad thing is she is making herself vulnerable, less likeable, & more open to public ridicule because she is throwing herself out there in an “Over the Top” way…. blogs are already beginning to criticize her and laugh at her and critique her most recent Giambattista Valli outfit. I think the wisest thing after marrying George would have been to remain subdued and low key. Instead, she has thrown herself out there with a total transition to pretentious High Glam.

  3. When George married Amal, the media attempted to make George’s girlfriend(s) Stacy Keibler and Elisabetta Canalis, to be “bimbos”, unintelligent, and uneducated women. To be honest, these two women were very down to earth, humble, classy, sophisticated, and in no way attempted to be opportunists, haute couture, high glam, or top dollar $$$$$$ kind of women. In fact, each of them dated George much longer than George met—dated—knew—married Amal. I sure hope George doesn’t get hurt…after all 5 months isn’t REALLY a lot of time to know someone completely. They met in October, he proposed in March…married in September. All in a time duration of 11 months. WOW! Very quick for George! Hope in the long run he made the right decision. She sure has evolved into something I was not expecting. EEK!

  4. Amal seems to be quite the opportunist ,a prima Donna , I hope she does not hurt George , he doesn’t deserve it .
I was happy for him to find love , but very concerned about the long gravity of this .
Amal has changed , forgetting her humble beginnings in Lebanon .
