Amal and George Clooney celebrate tonight their wedding at the Danesfield House Hotel. Amal looks glamorous with a gold maxi dress and a (faux)-fur jacket. The make-up is perfect. She already wore the same dress at the Monuments Men London premiere as Roshane mentionned in her comment. 1. Yes looks like the dress you found at Donna Karen, well done!! Seems Amal likes her pink too. I bet they are not happy the Mirror newspaper got hold of those internal photos of the venue preparation as I doubt they would sell them to the mirror. Hmm.

      1. I would look as unhappy as Amal does, if I was married to a man, who, it is rumored, is a friend of Dorothy.

      2. Oh, how ridiculous. Every single male star in Hollywood since the invention of movies has been “rumored” to be “a friend of Dorothy.” Give it up already.

    1. My hope is that it’s not ‘the honeymoon is over’. This is the first time I’ve seen both of them look so glum together and here they are on their way to a happy family celebration of their marriage. I’ve wandered how George will handle being married to a smart, strong, independent woman that doesn’t follow his every wish. George has a history of dating beautiful women that appeared to happily follow his lifestyle and not necessarily be in an equal partnership. He clearly called the shots. Now he is committed and will have to share the limelight and I would imagine as they settle into ‘wedded bliss’ it will take time for them to adjust to their new, somewhat complex life together. I wish them all the best.

    2. These shots were reeled off in about 30 seconds. Nobody is going to smile every minute of a car ride. We aren’t seeing the times during the ride when she was engaged in conversation with her husband. canone’t judge her state of mind by pix taken over a few seconds. Plus, even the peering driver and security look bothered by the camera flashes. This is the blank look any decent person would give paps taking pix inside a car on a private occasion!

      1. Yes except they knew there would be major public interest and there would be photographers. They both know they can’t just turn off the cameras because of a ‘private’ party. Not after the wedding spectacle they just had in Italy and her work trip to Greece. This attention is not new to them.

    3. As we say in Arabic, عاطيه النعمه استحقاقهه . Good for her. She need not smile. Translation: She is giving glory what glory deserves. Maybe someone is better at translation this idiom.

  2. Won’t last. He doesn’t look happy either. She is a beautiful and accomplished woman. She should know that the media is relentless when you are married to a movie star like Clooney.

      1. In that case, they shouldn’t have invited the paps to accompany their lives practically 24/7 before, during and after the ceremony but for the few hours they spent in their hotel room. 😀

  3. Well she didn’t seem to mind the paparazzi in Greece or in ITaly.Looks like trouble between the two. That or GEorge’s PR people have asked her to play it down.

    1. Yes it looks to be more than just frustration with the paparazzi. It’s a shame seeing them so unhappy on their way to a grand celebration of their marriage. Well they both still look beautiful!

      1. Yes it’s a stunning gown. It fits her exotic look to a T. I wonder if there will be photos published of the party last night? Would love to see!

  4. She’s certainly gorgeous & glamorous! Amal has drastically changed her look to extreme high fashion & high glam, which is absolutely STUNNING! I do miss, however, her style & look that came when meeting George. I liked her simplicity, and to be honest it truly set her away from the rest. Now she is becoming a Hollywood/Celebrity/Extreme High Fashion/ Perfect/Play for the Camera/ person. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great, but she just blends in with the rest. She set herself a part from the rest by being who she was pre-George. After all, THIS is what caught his eye & who he fell in love with, which was great! Who she has become is drastically different. I almost don’t even recognize her. She just might end up intimidating HIM! LoL 🙂

    1. I agree with Jaclyn, less is more.
I think too much make up, especially red lips with dark hair and dark brows made her look like a drag queen. Don’t get me wrong. It is a mistake many arab women make. Going softer is much more complimentary.

  5. I don’t think they mind the media fore they publicly made the October 25 announcement nearly a month ago. Naturally they would expect the “circus” of photogs, spectators, etc. wanting to get a glimpse of the couple. This date was publicly announced, along with the location. Clearly, they both understand that it’s going to be awhile before the dust settles. It’s new, fresh, etcetera. Therefore, wherever they go, wherever they are spotted, every public appearance….they will be photographed. It is expected and they know that. It comes with fame. George is certainly no stranger to it and they both know how to play it up and smile. No worries for them….. …..that’s what bodyguards are for. This environment on Oct. 25, is a much different one than their wedding weekend. They don’t have to play up to the crowds/fans here as they graciously did during their beautiful wedding weekend. I’m excited to see more pics. Perhaps they will release some selected photos from inside the celebration on October 25. We shall see. 🙂

  6. I’m so happy to see new photos. Amal’s style is perfect. Thanks for this blog, it’s a real pleasure to look at.
Her earrings are by Akong London AW 2012 collection. The earrings she wore when she was going to Alexander McQueen’s are also this brand, AW 2013. The same for the beautiful necklace she wore with a white dress when in Lake Como.

  7. Absolutely beautiful. I don’t agree that they look “mad” or “sad” or “tired” or all the other things people are claiming here. Why do they have to be smiling all the time? Nobody lives like that. Most of the time we just have ordinary, neutral looks on our faces, as they do here. And yes, the gown is magnificent.

  8. The Clooneys are a great couple and so is the Druze Lebanese friend of Amal’s parents
Salim Khereidine who offered his hotel Danesfield House complimentary with dinner for 200 persons so they can celebrate in England the wedding of their daughter.

  9. George and Amal loves each other. We cannot judge that they are mad or miserable because in 2 or 3 pictures they are not smiling.Nobody must remain smiling the whole day. There are many serious and important issues to think about it in their life. The 2 are very smart and they can overcome any difficulties they may face.I wish them all the best. They deserve each other.

  10. I think it’s great of her to wear the dress that she wore to the premier. When people are caught up in the celebrity they are not photographed in the same outfit. I hope to see more of this from Amal it makes her more natural. And I agree the makeup is a bit much but it is for a special occasion. Hopefully she will express her own personal style when she’s carrying on with her day to day work and private life.
